| JUST ADDED! I have started to add katas in a higher resolution MP4 format. All such clips are marked with a "(MP4)" tag. Most modern operating systems should not have any problem playing the MP4 format, but if you are having problems, I highly recommend that you download a free copy of VLC Media Player from the following link: Get VLC! VLC Media Player is capable of running on MAC, Windows, and Linux and plays almost every available format including MP4. Older video clips come in mpg format. Most computers should have no problem playing them. If you do, try doing a search for "MPEG Layer 1" on Google to download the appropriate codec. I recommend right-clicking the link and downloading to your machine to view (that way you can view the clip again without having to download it another time). | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| In an effort to keep the clip size down, I have reduced the resolution and quality of the video.
Remember, Aikido is a dynamic and evolving art; therefore, some of these katas may have changed since the filming of these clips, not to mention the fact that the aikidoka performing the katas may have made mistakes! But it will give you a rough guide of the katas shown. |
